Jake Henkel is a filmmaker from Cleveland, Ohio focused on artistic storytelling and creative world-building. Translating his colorful personality and particular stylistic approach into vivid visuals, he has a unique approach to the world. Intertwining personal and shared experiences, he tackles themes of fantasy, sexuality, performance, gender, and human desire, with an emphasis on grandeur. His keen eye for storytelling is a blend of artistic mediums, coming about in the field through musical theatre and studio art. Studying at NYU Tisch as a sophomore, he focuses on directing, production design, wardrobe, art direction, and acting.
